Lenny Breau with Dave Young, Live at Bourbon St. Breau plays the guitar like a pianist, with the ability to comp and walk basslines for himself. His playing is constantly changing throughout the solo, building interest throughout the tunes. Breau’s tone is clear and full. What attracts me to this record is Young’s bass work. His time feel is comfortable, and his tone sounds natural....
